Super Leyla once again saves the day and brings pizza to all! Wait, why is everyone...

"Leyla! Wake up! Remember that you have a big mission today!"

"Mother! I only got about 20 minutes of sleep!"

"You asked me to wake you up. What kept you up late, anyway?"

"I spent half the night scowling at romance and the other half trying to fall asleep."

"You should be at the treehouse with the critter guard in half an hour."

"I'm coming!"

By the time I was at the treehouse, I was in a much better mood and was much less sleepy.

Shane explained what we were looking at. Packbat and Gatorpossum had been seen in a particular part of the forest too much lately. This happened to be where the Hoppers were taking a vacation.

"So we think Packbat may be trying to capture them." Shane finished.

"Maybe we should warn them?" That was Patrick, and he was probably thinking of taking a run and warning them.

"Exactly," Shane said.

In a few minutes a plan was hatched. One of us would deliver a pizza to the Hoppers.

Harold Pickleweed was ready to help. He thought that one of us, rather that him, should go.

"Sabrina would do great at this. I think she should go," he said.

The boys did a little complaining about how a girl couldn't possibly do this as well as them, but in the end, it was arranged that Sabrina would go. Harold gave her lessons on delivering pizza and how to use his motorbike. He also had an outfit ready for her.

"It will help to make it look like you are serious about this.

Everything was ready when Packbat dropped by and grabbed the pizza.

"I know what you are up to!" he said. "You will never get this pizza back!"

"Come on Leyla!" Sabrina called.

I jumped onto the back of the motorbike. We were in for a real chase.

"Those girls will never get the job done." Dominic complained.

"Yes we will!" I called back.

We sped through the forest, chasing Packbat under fallen trees, across several bridges, and even around a lake! I clung to the back of the bike at first, but managed to climb into a position suitable for throwing pinecones at Packbat. Once I had started throwing the pinecones, we could overtake Packbat. He tried to get away, but we were now ready: I threw the pinecones at the right time, and Sabrina drove into thicker forest where flying was hard. Just as we reached open forest again, Sabrina called, "trap him with the rope!"

That was easy. One of the things we always took with us, at least in Critter Guard, was a long rope. I caught Packbat and took the pizza as Sabrina went back into the thick forest to lose Packbat.

After about ten more minutes of going through the forest at breakneck speed, we slowed down enough for me to eat a snack. I was very hungry.

Delivering the pizza was a piece of cake, well a slice of pizza, and the Hoppers easily got the message.

Later that day, Sabrina held a party at the treehouse. She and I were setting up lights in the cabin when we heard a knock. Sabrina opened the door and there was Harold Pickleweed.

"Would you ladies happen to like pizza?"

"We hate pizza!"

"Really?"

"No, we love pizza! Could you join this party?"

"I have time."

And Harold did.

By the way, I do not think Dominic was too happy about us girls actually accomplishing our mission, but he did like hearing the story.
