A Sibling Quarrel

One day, in the middle of Summer, the Hazelnuts drove to the pizzeria. Dominic, Luke, and Sarah were in a rowdy mood.

"What kind of pizza do you want?" asked Savanna.

"Seafood!" Sarah answered.

"Olive!" Dominic replied.

"Tomato!" Luke screamed

"Seafood is disgusting!" said Dominic.

"No, olive is!" Sarah retorted.

"Tomato is the best anyway!" Luke yelled.

"Is not!" Dominic said very firmly, and it was right then that a horrible sibling quarrel broke out. Luke threw the water bottle that his mother had brought onto his brother's head.

"MOTHER!" Dominic called. "Luke threw the water bottle onto my head."

Seeing her chance, Sarah pulled Luke's blanket away from him. Savanna pulled the car to the side of the road.

"I will take the water bottle and Luke's blanket."

The kids sighed.

When they got home, the kids were still mad at each other.

Sarah screamed, "Everything in my room against yours!" to Dominic. And just like that, the Room Wars had begun. They didn't work very well. Only Sarah had many characters and everything Luke brought out was the wrong kind of toy.

Luke was getting tired of the quarrel by now and he was trying to think of a way to end it. "Can we please do something more interesting?" he said.

"No." his brother replied.

"I captured the rabbit pillow!" Sarah teased.

"I'm getting it back!"

Luke looked at the clock and got an idea. Then, he went downstairs.

"Time for bed!" Savanna called.

"Nooooooo!" Dominic and Sarah screamed. They ran out the door.

"Which way is safer?"

"Around the back."

By the way, it was by no means anyone's bedtime. Luke's plan was working.

The chase continued for about five minutes.

John yelled from around the house. "You know, I was going to tell you that since you are no longer in a quarrel, you don't have to go to bed so early. Just pick up your toys."

"Hey!" the siblings yelled back. But the quarrel was over.

"Would you like to watch the new movie that the Furbanks made, the one you have been wanting to see? Wasn't it called The Treasure of Calico Village?"

"They based that on a incident that I was part of. I even got to act in it!"

When siblings clean up together, it goes fast. Watching movies is also better with siblings. Sarah, Dominic, and Luke all had a wonderful evening.

"Triple backwards sibling sandwich hug!"
